My name is Jakob Hall and i'm a Singer/Songwriter from Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. My Primary Genre is Pop/Rock, but I like to switch it up every now and then. I've always been a quiet but energetic kid growing up, I've always had a passion for music, but first started taking it seriously around 12 years old, that was a big year for me, because that's when I got my first TV Appearance when i auditioned for this kids reality show called "The Next Star". Later that year i performed in my school talent show for the first time to a warm reception. A few years went by and I kind of put music on the backburner for a bit to focus on my school, and it was a bit rough, I felt like an outsider because I wasn't a very social kid at all, However I finally got the courage to get back on stage in my senior year of high school, when a did a christmas show and a couple of coffeehouses. After high school I joined a band with a friend of mine and one of his friends, we performed together for about 5 years, and released multiple singles and 2 albums, that experience helped me learn about recording, performing and getting more confident as a songwriter. In 2022 I joined the music arts program at NSCC Ivany, Graduating in 2025, that program has a great impact of my knowledge of the industry among many other things. Since 2023 I've started releasing solo music, Many of my singles got radio airplay most notably CIOE 97.5 FM, I've also been lucky enough to have many of my songs hit the Top 30 on their East Coast 30 Countdown List. I've dedicated myself to music for many years, I've played many venues in the HRM such as Gus's Pub, The Basement of the Shoe, and The Seahorse Tavern, as well many other bars and restaurants. I take inspiration from many amazing performers Such as Elton John, Freddie Mercury of Queen, and Michael Jackson. I always put 110% of myself into my musicianship, and I always want to push the envelope, With me you always get a show.
